Just wanted to post a blog to let my followers know I am still around. Life has been a bit crazy lately and well the thought of blogging and writing about what has been happening in our lives lately hasn't been very appealing.
My blog is for me right? It's a way to write down my feelings and tell stories about my journey as a wife and a mother right? Well if so, then here I go....
Can I just tell you life can really SUCK! It's sad, but since my sister-in-law died unexpectedly almost 4 years ago, Jason and I began to realize "life is: learning to deal with one bad thing after another". Some days I wake up and realize how happy I am. I have everything I have ever really wanted. However, as the Bible has taught us...we will never be completely happy on earth simply because we are not made for earth. So our happiness is just a glimpse of light.
On October 2, 2008 Jason's best friend Justin died unexpectedly. Since then Justin's mother Pam has been there for all of us (including Justin's four children) to help keep his memory alive. Justin's oldest child Cloey has been a dear friend to my girls their entire lives. Cloey was at the hospital the day Mara was born and we have watched them grow up together.
On February 20th, 2010 we received a call that Pam and Cloey were killed in a car accident. Cloey died instantly and Pam died a short time later at the hospital .
Wow. How unbelievable still. How does one family handle losing three? It's hard to understand that their time here on earth was done. We hurt for their family who needed Pam. We hurt for Cloey's mom who's heart aches for her daughter. Oh how I wish the Lord would come back and take us all. We miss them.
You never know what a new year holds, but so far this year Mara has lost to friends very dear to her. It shouldn't be this way. Thank the Lord my children are safe and well.
Forever in our hearts Pam and Cloey.
