Our summer of softball

This summer has been softball, softball, softball. This was Cayman's first year to play on the DP girls softball all stars team. Altogether I can say the experience was fun, HOT, nail biting, demanding and rewarding. We had tournaments almost every weekend this summer (minus a few missed for Disney World and July 4th). Some tournaments were 1 hour away and the team had to be there by 7:30am. Then it was all day in the sun with a heat index of over 100 degrees. Nuts? Yes maybe, but it was worth it. We all started feeling more like family towards the end. We made lots of great memories and lots of great friends. This is what childhood is all about...sports, friends, and fun. So until fall ball rolls around in September, we get a bit of time to relax. Here are some of the highlights from our summer....
